AI and balloon scope team up to spot more polyps in colon cancer screening
NCT ID NCT07502469
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether using a special balloon-assisted scope (G-Eye) together with artificial intelligence (CAD-Eye) finds more polyps than a standard colonoscopy with AI alone. About 300 people aged 50-74 who had a positive stool test took part. The goal was to see if the combination improves detection in real-world settings, not just expert centers.
