First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for people with a specific type of lung cancer (EGFR mutation-positive NSCLC) that has spread to the brain and its lining. The treatment combines a targeted drug (furmonertinib) with chemotherapy injected into the spinal fluid and precise radiation to the brain. The goal is to see if this combination can control the cancer in the brain longer. The study will enroll 30 adults who have not had prior treatment for advanced disease.
