This study aimed to see how fiber from fungi compares to plant fiber in improving gut health, immunity, and stress in healthy adults. Only 8 women aged 37-48 with mild gut issues took part before the study was stopped early. Researchers measured gut symptoms, stool quality, and immune responses to understand how the gut microbiome affects individual results.
