New combo targets tough lung cancer mutation before surgery

Summary
This study tests a new treatment plan for people with a specific type of lung cancer (KRAS G12C mutation) that can be removed with surgery. Before surgery, patients receive a targeted drug (fulzerasib) for 6 weeks, then a break, followed by 3 cycles of immunotherapy (sintilimab) plus standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this combination shrinks the tumor enough to improve surgery outcomes. About 30 adults with stage IB to IIIA lung cancer will take part.
