Summary
This study tests whether adding a drug called copanlisib to the usual two-drug therapy (fulvestrant and abemaciclib) works better for people with a certain type of advanced breast cancer (hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative) that has spread. The trial involves 24 participants and focuses on safety and how long the cancer stays under control. The goal is to find a more effective treatment option for this hard-to-treat cancer.
