New study checks if a common stroke test really works for rehab patients
NCT ID NCT07508540
First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at how well the Fugl-Meyer Assessment (a test for stroke recovery) measures improvement in 135 people with subacute stroke during inpatient rehabilitation. Researchers checked the test's accuracy by comparing it with other standard measures at the start and end of rehab. The study did not test any treatment, only the measurement tool itself.
