Summary
This study examined over 2,200 people with or suspected of having frontotemporal dementia (FTD) to find out how many cases are linked to specific genes. Researchers collected genetic samples and medical information to better understand the inherited causes of this rare brain disorder. The goal was to improve knowledge, not to test a treatment.
