Summary
This study tested a treatment called pulsed radiofrequency for frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) in 32 patients aged 65 and older. The treatment uses ultrasound guidance to deliver mild electrical pulses to a nerve in the shoulder, aiming to reduce pain and improve movement without damaging the nerve. The goal was to see if this approach can safely ease symptoms in elderly patients who often have limited treatment options.
