New bedside test could simplify frostbite diagnosis

Summary
This study aims to see if a newer, simpler imaging test works as well as the current standard for diagnosing severe frostbite. Researchers will compare two methods—conventional angiography and ICG microangiography—in 8 adult patients with severe frostbite. The goal is to determine if the newer, bedside-friendly test can accurately show the same damaged tissue areas as the more complex standard procedure.
