French experts launch large study on safer colon polyp removal

Summary
This study is collecting information from 1,200 people in France who are having a special procedure called endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) to remove large colon polyps or early cancers. The goal is to see how well ESD works and how safe it is compared to older methods. Researchers hope the results will help doctors choose the best treatment for these growths.
