First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study aims to understand if patients who are frail before non-cardiac surgery are more likely to develop acute kidney injury afterward, and whether changes in blood pressure during surgery play a role. Researchers will follow 1000 adults undergoing non-cardiac surgery, comparing frail and non-frail patients. The goal is to improve care by identifying risk factors that can be managed.
