Summary
This study is observing 200 older adults (65+) who have hip fracture surgery to see if those who are frail have higher levels of inflammation. Researchers will use simple blood tests taken before surgery to measure inflammation. The goal is to better understand the link between frailty and inflammation, not to test a new treatment.
