Summary
This study reviewed medical records of 149 older adults (65+) who had lower limb orthopedic surgery. Researchers wanted to see if two frailty assessment tools could predict who would have serious complications or die within 90 days after surgery. The goal is to help doctors identify high-risk patients before surgery to improve care.
