NCT ID NCT07147504

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study reviews medical records of 2,000 older adults (60+) who had surgery for a broken leg, arm, or spine between 2010 and 2019. Researchers will look at how the break location, age, nutrition, and other health problems relate to death rates up to 5 years after surgery. No new treatments are given—the goal is to learn which patients need extra care to improve survival.
