First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at 163 adults having ERCP, a procedure to examine the digestive tract. Doctors used two different types of endoscopes one after the other to see which one finds more important problems like ulcers or bleeding. The goal was to learn if a forward-viewing scope misses fewer serious findings than the standard side-viewing scope.
