Massive study tests new clot-buster for deadly lung condition

Summary
This study is testing a drug called non-immunogenic staphylokinase in 20,000 adults with a massive blood clot in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). The goal is to see if the drug can safely break up the clot and lower the risk of death or other serious problems. Participants will receive a single injection of the drug and be followed for 30 days.
