What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
foot reflexology massage
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a drug-free way to ease migraine pain and improve sleep and daily life for women with migraines.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early-stage trial with only 22 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The effect may be due to relaxation rather than reflexology specifically.
