NCT ID NCT05974020

First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested whether a 12-week foot muscle exercise program could help prevent foot wounds in people with type 2 diabetes. 37 adults were randomly assigned to exercise groups or a control group. Researchers measured foot pressure, posture, and health surveys before and after the program. The goal was to see if stronger foot muscles improve pressure distribution and reduce wound risk.
