Summary
This study tests whether providing free, medically tailored meals to children with Type 1 Diabetes who face food insecurity can improve their blood sugar control, growth, and quality of life. Fifty children will either receive standard care or standard care plus pre-packaged meals and nutrition counseling. The goal is to see if better nutrition leads to fewer hospital visits and better diabetes management.
