Sound waves target Parkinson's brain without surgery
NCT ID NCT06584383
Summary
This study is testing whether a focused ultrasound treatment can help control movement symptoms in people with early-stage Parkinson's disease. It compares a one-time, non-invasive brain procedure against standard medication. The goal is to see if the ultrasound treatment is safe and if it can reduce symptoms and potentially lower medication needs over 12 months.
