Freezing cancer spots: new trial aims to control prostate disease while sparing side effects

NCT ID NCT05454488

Summary

This study is testing whether freezing just the part of the prostate that contains cancer can effectively control the disease. It's for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer that is confined to a single area. The goal is to see if this targeted approach works while better preserving urinary and sexual function compared to treating the whole prostate.
