First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether giving kidney cancer patients a fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) before and during immunotherapy can prevent severe side effects like colitis. About 20 adults with advanced kidney cancer will receive FMT alongside the drugs ipilimumab and nivolumab. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and helps patients stay on treatment for better outcomes.
