First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) is safe and feasible for children under 22 who have gut problems after a stem cell transplant. Ten participants will receive FMT via colonoscopy or a nasal tube. The main goal is to check for serious side effects within 30 days, not to prove it works yet.
