Summary
This study tested whether transplanting healthy gut bacteria (fecal microbiota transplant, or FMT) could improve sleep in people with chronic insomnia. 80 adults received either FMT capsules or placebo starch capsules. Researchers measured sleep quality using sleep tests and questionnaires to see if the FMT group slept better.
