First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a fluoride-releasing composite resin for aligner attachments can prevent white spot lesions (early cavities) compared to standard attachments. Twenty-four people aged 16-24 with mild crowding will have one side of their mouth get the fluoride material and the other side a conventional composite. Researchers will measure white spots at 3 and 6 months using a laser device.
