First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests a fluorescent dye that makes dead or inflamed tissue glow during surgery, helping burn surgeons decide exactly what to remove. About 100 adults with burn wounds will be followed for up to 24 days. The goal is to see if this imaging technique improves wound healing and reduces the need for repeat surgeries.
