Glow-in-the-Dark dye could help surgeons spot hidden cancer cells

Summary
This study tests whether injecting a fluorescent dye called fluorescein sodium before surgery helps surgeons better see and remove extramammary Paget's disease cells during vulvectomy. About 27 adults with noninvasive or microinvasive disease will receive the dye, and researchers will check if it reduces the chance of leaving cancer cells behind. The study also tracks complications like allergic reactions or wound healing issues.
