First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how two different amounts of IV fluids given during lung surgery affect the health of blood vessel linings. 41 adults having lung surgery received either a low or high rate of fluid. Researchers measured markers of blood vessel damage before, during, and after surgery to see if the fluid amount made a difference.
