Summary
This study tested a new four-strain flu vaccine in very young children to see how safe it is and how well it triggers a protective immune response. Over 2,700 healthy children aged 6 to 35 months received two doses of either the new vaccine or a control vaccine. Researchers closely monitored the children for any side effects and measured their antibody levels for six months after vaccination.
