Vital vaccine test for vulnerable transplant patients

Summary
This study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect against a serious type of bird flu (H5N1) in people who have had an organ transplant. Researchers want to see if the vaccine is safe and if it triggers a strong immune response in these patients, who are at high risk for severe flu. About 120 stable transplant patients will receive either two doses of the vaccine or a placebo shot.
