NCT ID NCT02027233
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at how effective the seasonal flu vaccine is at preventing severe flu in adults who were hospitalized. Researchers tracked over 6,000 patients across French hospitals, comparing those who got the vaccine to those who didn't. The goal was to see if vaccination reduces the chance of ending up in the hospital with lab-confirmed flu, and also to understand the impact of other respiratory viruses like RSV and COVID-19.
