Vietnam tests chat groups and flyers to get seniors vaccinated against flu

NCT ID NCT07508189

First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether community-based communication—like counseling, social media messages, and educational materials—can increase flu vaccination rates among people over 65 in Can Tho City, Vietnam. About 1,200 elderly participants from different neighborhoods will be randomly assigned to receive the communication program or usual care. The goal is to see if these simple, low-cost efforts can help more seniors get vaccinated over a 9-month period.
