NCT ID NCT05118672
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested whether a single pill containing three common medicines (paracetamol for pain and fever, fexofenadine for allergy-like symptoms, and phenylephrine for nasal congestion) works better than a placebo at relieving flu and cold symptoms. 567 adults with moderate to severe symptoms took either the combo pill or a placebo and rated their symptom changes. The goal was to see if the combination provides faster, more effective relief for common cold and flu symptoms.
