Foot surgeons test better way to fix 'Floating Toe' problem
NCT ID NCT05625282
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for treating floating toe, a condition where a toe doesn't touch the ground properly. Researchers want to see if a simpler surgery (Weil osteotomy alone) works as well as a more complex surgery (Weil osteotomy plus plantar plate repair). The study will measure foot pain, function, and complications one year after surgery in 70 adult participants.
