Foot surgeons test simpler procedure for painful toe condition
NCT ID NCT05625282
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for treating moderate to severe floating toe, where a toe doesn't touch the ground properly. Researchers want to see if a simpler bone-cutting procedure alone works as well as that same procedure combined with soft tissue repair. They'll measure foot function, pain, and complication rates in 70 adults one year after surgery.
