NCT ID NCT07382193

First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at a new surgical technique for repairing cut tendons in the hand that does not require a splint afterward. Forty adults with clean-cut tendon injuries will have surgery using a special numbing method that keeps them awake, then start moving their fingers gently right away. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better hand movement and strength compared to traditional splinting.
