Three-Minute fitness test could predict surgery complications
NCT ID NCT07159711
Summary
This study is testing a small, quick device called Seismofit to measure fitness in patients undergoing treatment for esophageal cancer. The goal is to see if this simple test, done while lying down, can predict complications and hospital stay length better than the current, longer fitness test. Researchers will compare the device's results to the standard test in 164 patients receiving chemotherapy and surgery.
