Stool test could change cancer screening for lynch syndrome patients

NCT ID NCT06898996

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a non-invasive stool test (FIT) can accurately detect colorectal cancer in people with Lynch Syndrome, a genetic condition that raises cancer risk. Researchers will compare FIT results to standard colonoscopy findings in 400 participants. If accurate, FIT could offer a simpler, more comfortable screening option.
