First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple stool test (FIT) can detect hidden gastrointestinal bleeding in 200 adults who are about to start taking blood thinners. Participants will provide a stool sample before starting the medication and again three months later. The goal is to see how common hidden bleeding is and whether early detection can help prevent serious problems.
