Summary
This study tests a program called FIT Families, designed to help African American teenagers with obesity and their caregivers make healthier lifestyle changes together. The program is led by community health workers and is tailored to the families' needs. About 360 teens and their caregivers will take part to see if the program reduces body fat and improves weight over time.
