Smart bed scale aims to tackle weight crisis for wheelchair users

NCT ID NCT07141342

Summary

This study is testing a special scale built into a bed to help people who use wheelchairs monitor their weight. The goal is to see if having easy access to daily weight readings helps participants stick to a diet and exercise program and lose weight. Researchers will compare weight loss over 6 and 12 months between a group using the bed scale and a group weighed only a few times during the study.
