NCT ID NCT07575438
First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether two types of fish oil, EPA and DHA, can improve how the body handles blood sugar and cholesterol in people at high risk for type 2 diabetes. Over 12 weeks, 84 adults with obesity will take daily capsules of EPA, DHA, or a placebo (corn oil). Researchers will measure insulin production, insulin sensitivity, and fat tissue health to see if one fish oil works better.
