Natural compound trial aims to turn back the clock on aging frailty
NCT ID NCT03675724
Summary
This study is testing whether a natural plant compound called fisetin can help reduce frailty and signs of inflammation in older adults. Researchers at Mayo Clinic are enrolling 40 participants aged 70 and older to take either fisetin or a placebo for a short period. The main goal is to see if fisetin lowers blood markers linked to inflammation, frailty, and bone loss.
