First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether the drug finerenone can lower protein levels in the urine of people who have had a kidney transplant. High protein in urine is a sign of kidney damage. The trial involves 54 adult transplant recipients and compares finerenone to another drug, dapagliflozin. Researchers will also monitor side effects to see if finerenone is safe for this group.
