Hunting for hidden cancer cures: testing drugs that guidelines ignore
NCT ID NCT07343024
Summary
This study aims to find better ways to predict which FDA-approved cancer drugs might work for patients when standard treatment guidelines don't offer options. Researchers will analyze genetic tests and drug sensitivity results from 300 advanced cancer patients to identify promising 'off-guideline' treatments. The goal is to help doctors choose effective drugs that would otherwise be overlooked for specific cancer types.
