Cash for cuddles: study tests if money helps preemie moms visit more
NCT ID NCT06362798
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving weekly money to low-income mothers of preterm babies helps them visit the NICU more often. The goal is to see if more visits lead to more breastfeeding and skin-to-skin care, which are good for the baby's health. About 420 mothers will take part, with some getting the extra money and others receiving standard care.
