Brain zaps plus exercise may ease fibromyalgia pain

NCT ID NCT07239427

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a gentle brain stimulation method called tDCS to a pain coping program helps people with fibromyalgia feel better. About 68 adults with fibromyalgia will take part. They will all go through education, then either real or fake tDCS, followed by exercise. The goal is to see if the real stimulation reduces pain and improves daily life more than the fake one.
