First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how changes in pain processing (called central sensitization) relate to balance problems in people with fibromyalgia. Researchers will compare 75 adults with fibromyalgia to healthy volunteers using pain tests and a balance-measuring device. The goal is to better understand why balance issues occur in fibromyalgia, which may guide future treatments.
