First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how fibromyalgia-related pain sensitivity (central sensitization) is linked to balance problems. Researchers will compare 75 adults with fibromyalgia to healthy volunteers using pain tests and a special balance platform. The goal is to understand if changes in pain processing affect static and dynamic balance, which could guide future treatments.
