Could simple fiber help cancer patients through tough transplants?

NCT ID NCT04829136

Summary

This study is testing whether giving fiber supplements to patients undergoing donor stem cell transplants for blood cancers is practical and helpful. Researchers want to see if extra fiber can improve nutrition and support healthy gut bacteria during this intensive treatment. The study will enroll 30 adult patients and track how well they tolerate the fiber supplements and any side effects.
